Google’s Looking For Quality Content: Get Your Content Out There
Google made big changes to the ways their search results rank, the reason cited is that google wanted to provide more relevant results, according to their official blog, this change impacts 11.8% organic search results, say it another way, there are about 12% of google search results are considered low quality by google itself. The update was initiated more than a year ago, maybe that’s why some of my ranks dropped out of first 10 pages, on the other hand almost all keywords promoted by contextual links are not affected, and a few of them even gained a few positions, it becomes clear that link building the old way is the thing of past, probably due to links crammed sites being downgraded by google.
Now what on earth is plain link building and how do people do it? There are a lot of SEO company out there are doing this, they put your links on websites which only exist for holding links, the content on those sites will never be updated, it’s safe to assume all of them are trash, the name link spamming are just for these sites. The latest google update will definitely downgrade most if not all of these sites, the links on those spamming sites won’t work anymore.
Maybe a few examples will make it clear. When I got into online marketing long time ago, I started promote the keyword, Swivel Eye Pulley, it was old way of link building all the way, lately I figured that every site in the campaign had way too many links, and those sites had only links, no real content at all. This strategy worked in the beginning, lately the keyword link stayed on the first page for a while, the honeymoon lasted until google changed it’s mind. Here is another keyword, chain puller , we put the link in relevant context, almost no plain links, you can imagine how this keyword ranks. So contextual link wins this time, what about future? Actually this is all about content, as long as you dole out high quality content, not only people will love to read your stuff, so do the search engines. How do you do it? Writing articles and building blogs, for instance let’s examine this one, kaiya eve , I didn’t put too much effort into it from start, but I never stopped posting, the result? I got nice ranking for a few realy nice keywords now. As far as SEO concerned, creating quality content and blog marketing is what we have to do to get great result. If you can build a group of your own blogs, something like Hardware Shackle, then you will have a powerful weapon in your SEO arsenal.
Remember content is king, you just need to create content, share the content with people, promote your business with the content, your effort will reward you handsomely in the end. Persistence and patience are the keys to success, nothing will automatically improve overnight, it doesn’t matter you’re doing SEO or advertising your business, keep writing, publishing, sharing and creating, you will see the day of success. When publisinh articles, I prefer ezine, google will index a new article on ezine promptly, of course your posts on some blogs will be indexed real fast as well, here I am going to show you an article in article directory or on a blog, like this trailer strap , good writing, interesting content, indexed and cached, all these points make it perfect for SEO.
