Chinese VS Blacks Brawl at Chinese Restaurant, Montreal

0 Chinese VS Blacks Brawl at Chinese Restaurant, MontrealFood fight! Party-goers smash up Chinese restaurant and throw bowls of rice at each other during massive New Year’s Eve brawl

High spirits got completely out of control at one restaurant on New Year’s Eve, descending into a full-scale brawl as revellers flung plates of food and hit each other over the head with chairs.

The fight was captured on cameraphone and uploaded to YouTube by one diner Shawn Turnbull who titled his video ‘Chinese vs Blacks’.

The riot broke out at New Dynasty, a Chinese restaurant in downtown Montreal, Canada.

Chairs were broken across people’s backs as diners screamed and threw punches. Bowls of noodles and rice went flying through the air and glass doors were smashed as the waiters ran for cover.

At one point, a young woman in a slinky black dress picked a chair up over her head and tossed it at another party-goer before tipping over a table full of plates.

Patrons can be seen on the film laughing and taking pictures as the restaurant is completely destroyed. Diners were then heard telling each other to run as police were on the way.

The restaurant manager, who did not wish to be named, told MailOnline today that he was not at work when the fights broke out but that significant damage had been done to the walls and carpets.

Montreal Police also told MailOnline today that officers had attended the restaurant in the Ville-Marie area of the city but that no arrests were made as the owners decided not to press charges. They did not know the cause of the fight.

Mr Turnbull, who made the video, told The Smoking Gun that police officers and emergency services were at the scene.

He said: ‘Two black guys were getting their wounds treated while police were kind of asking around. I don’t think arrests were made that night because the Asians fled the scene before police arrived.’

A mouthwatering, slightly sticky stir-fry based on a Taiwanese recipe.
Serves 2–4 to share
Prep time: 5 minutes, cook in: 14 minutes

This Taiwanese recipe uses 1 cup of soy sauce, 1 cup of sesame oil and 1 cup of rice wine. You can vary the amounts, but the final stir-fry should be slightly sticky.

INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon groundnut oil
5 garlic cloves, finely chopped
2.5cm/1 inch piece of fresh root ginger, peeled and sliced
500g/1lb 2oz chicken thighs and drumsticks, skinned and each piece halved on the bone
50ml/2fl oz light soy sauce
50ml/2fl oz toasted sesame oil
50ml/2fl oz Shaohsing rice wine or dry sherry
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 small handful of Chinese basil leaves, or Thai or Italian sweet basil, plus extra to garnish
1 medium red chilli, deseeded and cut into strips (optional)
steamed jasmine rice to serve

METHOD
• Heat a wok over a high heat and add the groundnut oil. When the oil starts to smoke, add the garlic and ginger and stir-fry quickly for a few seconds. Then add the chicken and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until it has browned. Add the soy sauce, sesame oil and rice wine or sherry, and cook on a medium heat for 6 minutes. Stir well and add the sugar.
• Bring the contents to the boil, then turn the heat down and simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce is reduced completely and the chicken is cooked. Turn off the heat. Stir in the basil leaves and leave to wilt slightly.
• Pour onto a plate, garnish with chilli strips and more basil leaves and serve immediately with jasmine rice.

Ching’s Tip
• Since you want a dry stir-fry here, it’s important to use toasted sesame oil, which will reduce as it cooks, and

Get More Traffic by Publishing Quality Articles

When it comes search engines, google is still the king, and they are doing everything they can to maintain their lead,   in the hope of offering it’s search users better results, according to their official blog, this change impacts 11.8% organic search results, in another word, there are about 12% of google search results are considered low quality by google itself. Google started this change almost one year ago, no wonder I saw a few of my keywords’ ranks dropped like a rock, on the other hand almost all keywords promoted by contextual links are not affected, some of the keywords even ranked better than before, it’s safe to say that old way of link building is doomed.

What is old way of link building any way? There are a lot of SEO company out there are doing this, they will get links from any websites which accept adding links, these websites will only be updated when new links are being added, it’s safe to assume all of them are trash, the name of link spamming sites is justified. New google algorithm most likely will punish these link spammers,  any links on them will be affected too.

Examples will be great for explanation. In the very beginning, I didn’t know better, I started with this keyword, Grade 70 Chains, at that time almost every body was doing plain linking campaign, lately I figured that every site in the campaign had way too many links, and the worst thing is that those sites are linking sites only and had no content, not even crap content. I would give credit where credit is due, this linking strategy worked, eventually the keyword could be found on first page,   the honeymoon lasted until google changed it’s mind. Now let’s look at another keyword, chain pullers, we put the link in relevant context, with very few plain links, the rank for this keyword is making me real happy. Old and outdated linking campaign lost to content linking, what’s next? In fact the only thing matters here is content, when you create unique and quality content, not only people will love to read your stuff, so do the search engines. How do you do it? Writing articles and building blogs, for instance let’s examine this one, top smartphone , I didn’t put too much effort into it from start, but I never stopped posting, now it can even rank the highly competitive keywords. As we can see, quality blog marketing is much better than plain link building. Say you’re building your own bogging network, for instance Mini Load Binders, then it will be easier to do article marketing.

At the end of day all you need to do is to create attractive content, get people to enjoy and share your stuff, and put your keywords in the context you’re good to go, this strategy will prevail in short or long term. The virtues, persistence and patience, are essential for your success, long term strategy is required to improve anything of significance, it doesn’t matter you’re doing SEO or advertising your business, let’s keep building and maintaining our blogs until end of the day. One of the best articles directories is EzineArticle, google will index a new article on ezine promptly, and some popular blogs will get your post indexed in minutes, there venues are ideal for promoting your site, let look at some aticles or posts which are published and indexed, Trucking Accessories, explains some interesting concepts, good writing, interesting content, indexed and cached, this article is a good example of article marketing.

By the way, the social media is the must have channel for your marketing effort. One thing you can do for your blogs is to install twitter tools, sign up for a twitter account and create a new application, configure your twitter tools prpperly, then make sure every new post will post a new tweet, it’s simple and elegant, if you don’t use this tool it’s just too bad.

Why does Chinese food from every restaurant taste exactly the same?

Why do all Chinese food restaurants in the US serve the exact same food? It seems that if you get Mongolian beef, sweet and sour chicken, or anything else from any Chinese restaurant in America, it tastes and looks EXACTLY the same, almost as if they are all part of a global Chinese food franchise. Obviously there are a few exceptions.

Because it has been tailored for the Western palate and they all use the same spices, methods, wholesalers, etc.

As someone here has said – that’s good because you know what you are going to get, bog standard, eat-as-much-as-you-can Chinese food. North Americans are not adventurous when it comes to food so they always like the same, whether it is Chinese, Burgers, artificial (tailored to the American palete) Mexican (Tex-Mex) food, steaks, etc.

Vastly contributing to the obesity in the US.

However, if you stay away from the large malls and venture into the actual Chinese sectors, find a restaurant where Chinese families are dining and you will find the food vastly different and tailored for the Chinese or Eastern palate. And, in the main, it will be good healthy, fairly low calorie and very tasty food.
