No Nonsense Contextual Links Will Boost Your Search Rank

Rank algorithm update from google weeded out a lot of good or bad websites,   the reason cited is that google wanted to provide more relevant results, on official google blog it is estimated 11.8% search results will be affected by this update, put it this way, there are about 12% of google search results are considered low quality by google itself. The update was initiated more than a year ago, maybe that’s why some of my ranks dropped out of first 10 pages, on the other hand almost all keywords promoted by contextual links are not affected, and a few of them even gained a few positions, it’s safe to say that old way of link building is doomed.

Now what on earth is plain link building and how do people do it? a lot of marketing companies did and are doing the plain link building, they put your links on websites which only exist for holding links, the content on those sites will never be updated, almost all of them are garbage, we call these sites link spamming sites. New google algorithm most likely will punish these link spammers,  any links on them will be affected too. 

A few real world examples will help to explain what I said. In the very beginning, I didn’t know better, I needed to rank the keyword, Ratchet Load Binder, of course with old way of link building, almost all the sites I got link from had too many links, and the worst thing is that those sites are linking sites only and had no content, not even crap content. This strategy worked in the beginning, finally the rank improved a lot, the party was over when google updated it’s algorithm. Here is another keyword, chain pullers, we put the link in relevant context, with very few plain links, the rank for this keyword is making me real happy. So contextual link wins this time, what about future? In fact the only thing matters here is content, as long as you dole out high quality content, your rank will improve over time, since search engines are another kind of readers. You may think there are already too many blogs out there, it’s not true, there will never be too many good blogs, such as this interesting blog, kids clothing , in the beginning I just post to it casually, lately I added nice stuff left and right, it’s no way this site will rank, right?, actually, no, in actuality my site is ranking high for some nice search phrases. Now you can see, creating quality content and blog marketing is what we have to do to get great result.
