Writing and Posting Quality Articles about Your Business Work Well

Lately google did something to their rank algorithm,   in the name of providing more relevant search results for it’s users, google engineers published blog post which indicated there were 11.8% organic search results will be affected, put it this way, google thinks about 12% of it’s search results are really bad and need to manipulated. The update was initiated more than a year ago, and recently I see some of my ranks were lowered considerably, on the other hand almost all keywords promoted by contextual links are not affected, and a few of them even gained a few positions, it’s almost a sure thing that plain link building loses all it’s attraction, at least in the eye of google.

Now what on earth is plain link building and how do people do it? There are a lot of SEO company out there are doing this, they will get links from any websites which accept adding links, these websites will only be updated when new links are being added, almost all of them are garbage, the name of link spamming sites is justified. New google algorithm most likely will punish these link spammers,  all the links on those websites will have the same fate.  

Examples will be great for explanation. When I got into online marketing long time ago, I needed to rank the keyword, Grade 30 Chain, at that time almost every body was doing plain linking campaign, lately I figured that every site in the campaign had way too many links, and those sites had only links, no real content at all. In the beginning, the ranking of the keyword in question rise pretty fast, eventually the keyword could be found on first page, the party was over when google updated it’s algorithm. Here is another keyword, chain pullers, most back links for this keyword are from articles and posts, almost no plain links, the rank for this keyword is making me real happy. So contextual link wins this time, what about future? It all boils down to content, so if you create great content, you will attract readers as well as search engines. You may think there are already too many blogs out there, it’s not true, there will never be too many good blogs, take a look at this blog, top smartphones , I didn’t put too much effort into it from start, but I never stopped posting, you probably think this site won’t rank a all, much to my surprise that the site actually ranks for quite a few keywords. As we can see, quality article marketing is much better than plain link building. Now imagine you have your own blog network, such as Ratchet Load Binder, you will have the power to push any sites up in search engines.

Remember content is king, you just need to create content, get people to enjoy and share your stuff, promote your business with the content, as long as you don’t stop doing this, you will win over customers and search engines. Persistence and patience are the keys to success, you shouldn’t expect things to improve overnight, i.e., selling online or improve your search rankings, let’s keep building and maintaining our blogs until end of the day.
